I took this photo in a courtyard of downtown Tucson. I’ve always really loved these candles. In our bathroom of my childhood home, we often had two sitting on the window ledge. Sometimes my father would take the wax, once the wick had burned through, and make his own candles with it. 

Our Mexican tiles of peacocks go just right with the mystery flowers I can’t seem to pinpoint. Notice how the yellow in their tails matches the blossoms!

These blossoms live right next to the hummingbird spigot. Behind them is also a freshly nested strawberry plant.
